5:30 - Pick up by chartered taxi from accommodation, meet up with English-speaking guide
7:00 - Meet up at Shirakaba-daira Station, then board the privately-reserved Shinhotaka Ropeway before opening hours to Nishihotaka Station. Take in an unbroken view of the majestic Northern Japan Alps as you journey among the clouds at 2000 meters above sea level in the cable car. (10 mins)
7:30 - Breathe in the fresh air, admire nature in its alpine finest while relishing a very exclusive breakfast in a space and time reserved just for you at the "Itadaki no Mori" area, a 5-minute walk from Nishihotakaguchi Station at the summit. The place is all yours to enjoy as this is held before ropeway opening hours - in other words, no other visitors present besides you. (60 mins)
8:30 - Depart the summit by ropeway from Nishihotakaguchi Station to Shirakaba-daira Station (10 mins)

(Important) ● The view at the summit may, at times, not be ideal due to various weather conditions. Please note that refunds cannot be issued on the grounds of bad weather.
● This tour will only be cancelled in the event of ropeway suspension or stoppage in operations. Full refund to be issued for unused portions, which exclude taxi costs if cancellation was done on the spot.
● Meeting up directly at the venue can be arranged (ie no transportation between Takayama and Shinhotaka required), which will affect the overall fee for the tour. Please confirm details with the Discover Gifu Tour Desk.
