Lessons Where I'm From: Japanese preschool education and cultural activities at Oblige International Preschool

As part of a tour of traditional Japanese educational culture, we visited Oblige International Kindergarten.
In terms of discipline, which is a characteristic of Oblige,
1. Greeting people yourself (to build positive relationships),
2. Say "yes" (to prepare yourself to listen to what the other person has to say),
3. Getting the right footwear and chair placement (to develop a sense of tightness and beauty)
We are working on "standing hips" (sitting with the hips upright, unifying the mind and body and building the foundation for willpower, concentration and character).

・12:00 Meet at the South Exit of Gifu Station/Gifu-Hashima Station ticket gate
12:45 Arrival - Observation of the cleaning of the park (spirit of cooperation)
13:15 Children enter the middle and senior classes. Children introduce themselves in English (seated in a standing position)
13:30 Introduction to Gifu's tourist spots, and experience origami making with the children
・14:00 Observation of a Japanese language education class (standing up and sitting with hips upright)
・14:15 Introduction to Japanese culture (Performing songs created during the Meiji period based on songs in foreign languages)
・14:30 Children prepare to go home, bow for their studies and leave the school.
14:40 Free tour of the park and Q&A time
・15:00 Departure from Oblige Kindergarten
・15:30 Arrive at Gifu Station/Gifu-Hashima Station, end *Disband at Gifu Station in front of the GIFTS SHOP inside the station
