[Recommended points]
From Gifu's magnificent sights of the grand outdoors, to that of traditional buildings retained from Japan's venerable past, there's a wide variety of wonderful scenery to take in during your travels.
Enjoy everything this private tour has to offer while going at your own leisurely pace.
Luggage and other large items can be delivered separately to Gifu City, so you can travel light on your e-bike.
This course includes a visit to the Seki Hamono Museum, where you get to not only observe a traditional swordsmithing demonstration, but also hold and hammer a katana the way it's been done for centuries, under the watchful guidance of Fujiwara Kanefusa XXV, a 25th-generation bladesmith, along with his son, Fujiwara Kanefusa XXVI, also a bladesmith. The Fujiawara family has been crafting swords for the Tokugawa family from the Muromachi Period for generations. Truly an exclusive experience!
